William
Hanrahan
holds
a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance and a Master of
Arts degree in Applied Psychology. He is on the faculty of the University
of California, Riverside, and Mt. St. Mary’s College, Los Angeles.
As an active performer, he is a featured soloist in concert, operatic
and liturgical performances throughout the United States. In addition
to his professional performances, his work includes the development
of educational programs for children and adults, corrective vocal
training, and the private voice instruction of professional singers
and actors. In seminars and individual coaching he presents techniques
for refining public speaking and presentation skills, strengthening
interpersonal styles of speaking and listening, and the fundamentals
of healthy vocal production. His work provides a unique exploration
of the psychology of communication, sound and language. He has been
the keynote speaker for the International Governors Conference of
Toastmasters and a guest presenter at the First International Conference
on Music in Human Adaptation. Mr. Hanrahan maintains a private voice
studio in Los Angeles, and conducts seminars throughout the U.S.
